Parbleu reinforces cooperation with the Dutch Smart Industry

In February 2018, SMeART project partner Parbleu attended the annual Dutch Smart Industry Event. 750 visitors took part in inspiring parallel sessions and a dynamic plenary program.

At this event, the chairman of FME (Dutch employers’ organisation in the technology industry) and chairman of the national Smart Industry Team Ineke Dezentjé Hamming-Bluemink, handed over the Implementation Agenda 2018-2021 to Mona Keijzer, State Secretary of Economic Affairs and Climate. "The Smart Industry Implementation Agenda is an acceleration agenda. Together with companies, employees, knowledge institutes and government, I want to make a sprint towards the digital future", said Mrs. Dezentjé. Secretary. Mrs. Keijzer added: "Digitization is very important for the growth of Dutch industry. Entrepreneurs must be able to work with the latest software and, for example, training courses in the field of robot programming have to be developed. With this agenda, we invest in knowledge and skills, we help companies and knowledge institutions to share their data safely and effectively and we stimulate regional cooperation through Fieldlabs”. Mrs. Keijzer indicated to embrace the Implementation Agenda and to invest € 3.5 million in Smart Industry in 2018.

Moreover, Parbleu and FME, which supports SMeART as associated partner, work together in cooperation with Koninklijke Metaalunie on a successful project TechnoSpitsen in the northern part of the Netherlands. The TechnoSpitsen network consists of 40 machine building SMEs and HEIs, sharing knowledge, networks and experiences in the field of Smart Industry.

Thus, SMeART supporting tools are expected to be relevant instruments for boosting potentials of Dutch companies towards becoming “smart”!
